Demand Planning is responsible for multi-channel demand planning and forecasting processes. The manager interprets multiple sources of information to create an accurate representation of future demand behavior by customer, market, channel, plant and product line. This position works closely with sales account managers, supply chain analysts and managers, financial analysts and controllers to develop a monthly demand plan by customer, market, channel, plant, product line, with accuracy and bias measured at various revenue based levels and item/plant level.
Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of financial and operational impacts. Demonstrated success in team development and driving results through others. Drive the monthly consensus demand planning process, including reporting aggregate plans to senior management on forecasts, assumptions, risks and opportunities. Lead the coordination of market intelligence, customer forecasts and demand inputs from Sales, Marketing, New Product and Program management teams. Document and challenge forecast assumptions based on the analysis of market data, industry dynamics, statistics, business trends and demand patterns.
The Supply Chain directs all supply chain functions, which include, but are not limited to, production planning, forecasting, material procurement, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection including contract manufacturers, and distribution. Directs all supply chain projects to ensure that they are on time and within budgetary controls. Responsible for administering the Company purchasing policies and procedures in accordance with customer and company requirements. Includes the procurement of inventory, supplies, capital goods and the management of freight.
Expertise: APICS (CPIM) or APS (CPP or CPPM) Certification, NetSuite, Engineering or Technical background, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, Purchasing Experience with Electronics, Offshore Supplier Selection and Management, Demonstrated negotiation capability, Strong and Demonstrated skills with Enterprise Software Systems, Demand Planning experience
Quality provides management of the Quality department and coordinates resolution of quality concerns and issues. Manages the timely release of materials and supportive documentation through the Minneapolis Quality Team. Ensures that organizational quality systems and training are in place and enforced. Leads root cause analysis and corrective action on quality issues. Drives continuous improvement within all regulatory and certification requirements
Expertise: B.S. in Chemistry, Engineering or Science-related field. 5+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance, within the precision manufacturing/pharmaceutical/food industry. Working knowledge of FDA, cGMP, SQF, and ISO 9001-2008 requirements. Strong knowledge of analytical test methodology and ability to analyze/interpret test results.
Facilities is responsible for the daily management of operations and services to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe building/plant operations environment. Provides daily supervision and performance management to staff and participants in training, and schedules daily priorities. This position assists in facility safety, emergency and evacuation procedures as the resident expert.
Expertise: experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical process/industrial equipment and systems, fluid pumping/conveyance systems, industrial and power piping, and HVAC. Bachelor's degree or a four (4) year college certification in a mechanical or maintenance field. Experience with wastewater, potable water, and/or storm water collection and treatment equipment.
